Found out the store down my block will sell you two marlboro lights for $1
And that’s the kind of non committal energy I’m looking to attract
The line is fine though
the one that separates this experience from other forms of detachment
Part man part boy
Shallow bank accounts
Broad shoulders
Dead phones
They’ll last you to two bridges and back if you time it right
The marlboro lights I mean
Though sometimes both are just as fast to disappear
